背景：这首歌是MarcEric Terenzi 马克·埃里克·特伦茨 作为结婚特别礼物献给爱妻Sarah Connor 莎拉·寇娜。而这正与歌后Sarah 《Living to love you》(为你而生)一曲相呼应，MarcEric 特意在俩人婚礼仪式进行前弹着钢琴唱出《Love to be loved by you》，歌名有些绕口，不过Sarah 听着即将成为丈夫的MarcEric 唱完后和在场的伴娘都哭了。那刻，他们是最幸福的恋人！
相信很多人都听过俩人还曾合唱过的一首金曲《Just one last Dance》。
婚礼在西班牙的海边举行，德国电视台全线直播。在婚礼仪式之前MarcEric 特别在海边弹着钢琴当着众人对即将成为自己妻子的Sarah 演唱秘密写好的新歌《Love to be loved by you》。在场的许多人都被听哭，Sarah 也落下了幸福的泪水。
